There's some salt off the harbour, though it's gentler than the open coast. The bigger issue is shade. Tree cover keeps south-facing walls and paths damp, so mould and green growth take hold and stay.

Older homes and newer builds on sloping blocks. Pools are common, and getting gear in is often the hard part.
